ALESANA biography

Alesana (pronounced Alice-anna) is a post-hardcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina. They have released one EP, appeared on 7 compilation, and has released 3 full length albums.
STYLE
Four vocalist, Dennis, Shawn, Jake and Shane trade off vocals. In the two albums before Adams left Alesana, he provides additional guitar and often will align with Shawn. When the song requires electric set, the band has three guitarists and tend to have a dual guitar riffs, or use one guitar, while (s) other chords and octave playing. Acoustic song they composed of Shawn playing the piano and singing, she often joined her sister Melissa Milke which also adds vocal songs their power. Lyrics, written by Dennis and Shawn, written cooperatively and find their influence in the literature. In fragile Wings of Vanity and Wax often make allusions Greek mythology, Where Myth fades to Legend of the plot twists of several Brothers Grimm story [7], and Emptiness is one constant story created by vocalists.Shawn two main vocalist dating Ariel, From Of Sacramento A hairstylist.
Formation and about Try This with Your Eyes Closed(2004–2005)
Although the band’s members first began playing together in Baltimore,[8] Maryland, the band officially formed in October 2004 in Raleigh, North Carolina by Shawn Milke, Patrick Thompson, Dennis Lee, Steven Tomany and Daniel Magnuson. The name of the band is derived from Alice-anna St., which Shawn Milke and Patrick Thompson lived on when playing in Baltimore, MD. Alice-anna St. is located in Fells Point, a neighborhood in Baltimore. Alesana was the first band to join Tragic Hero Records in 2005, and their 3 demo songs titled “Apology”, “Beautiful in Blue” and “Goodbye, Goodnight for Good” which were featured on a compilation All The Tragedy Money Can Buy. Later they released their debut EP, Try This With Your Eyes Closed, in May of that year. They toured in the United States, including an appearance at the Cornerstone Festival. In the same year Daniel Magnuson was replaced by Will Anderson.

On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax (2006–2007)
In 2006 they added a new drummer Jeremy Bryan to replace Will Anderson and added guitarist/vocalist Adam Ferguson to their lineup.[8] They followed with a full-length album, entitled On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax, in the summer of 2006. Many of the songs on the album take inspiration from Greek mythology, for example: “Ambrosia” is based on the story of king Midas and the Golden Touch along with his sufferings on living his life with his curse, and “The Third Temptation of Paris” is based upon the Trojan War. In late 2006, they signed on to Fearless Records, which re-released their LP in March 2007 to mixed reviews and released a music video for “Ambrosia”. In the same year, the song “Apology” in an acoustic version was featured on Punk Goes Acoustic 2. Later in the middle of the year, Steven Tomany left the band and was replaced by Shane Crump who had previously played bass for Your Name In Vain. They also played at the entire Warped Tour 2007. In early 2008, On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax charted on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, peaking at #44.[9]
Where Myth Fades to Legend (2008-2009)
In 2008 Alesana finished recording their second album, “Where Myth Fades to Legend”. The album was released on June 3, 2008 but was leaked on popular torrent sites on May 25. Where Myth Fades To Legend is also the title of their headlining tour with Sky Eats Airplane, Our Last Night, Lovehatehero, and The Chariot. Shane Crump was recently revealed in the intro to Alesana’s 4th video blog on purevolume to be a vocalist on the new album. All the female vocals done on the band’s albums are done by guitarist Shawn Milke’s sister, Melissa. Alesana is touring as of November, and will head to the eastern United States, which includes shows in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania with A Static Lullaby, Greeley Estates, Jamies Elsewhere, and many more.
As with their previous album, the majority of the songs are related to fables and the members’ “Favorite Stories” compiled from The Brother’s Grimm. Except for “As You Wish”, that is based on the story The Princess Bride. The song “All Night Dance Parties In The Underground Palace” is partly based on the story “The Worn Out Dancing Shoes.” The album was produced by Steve Evetts and recorded in Los Angeles, California. The song “Seduction” is said to be the first single from Where Myth Fades To Legend, as well as the music video, which was recorded late summer ‘08. The track “A Most Profound Quiet” has been released on their MySpace page. The Single “Seduction” was leaked onto the internet with the title “Subscription” on the Warped Tour 2008 compilation. According to guitarist/vocalist Shawn Milke, “This is Usually the Part Where People Scream” is influenced by the television show Heroes. “Obsession is Such an Ugly Word” features vocals from the entire band.
On the 2008 Warped Tour, Shane Crump briefly left due to personal matters at home and Jake Campbell (Twelve Gauge Valentine guitarist) became a temporary fill in bassist. Upon Shane’s return, Adam and the band parted ways and Jake is now the permanent rhythm guitarist.
In 2009 they have also been named along with Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains and The Bloodhound Gang to tour Australia with the Soundwave 2009 festival and also this spring Alesana toured with Drop Dead Gorgeous, Fear Before, I Set My Friends On Fire, and Fall From Grace on the World of Tourcraft tour
On January 20, 2009 the music video for “Seduction” was officially released and on March 10, 2009 the album Punk Goes Pop 2 was released which includes Alesana’s cover of “What Goes Around…Comes Around” by Justin Timberlake.
Alesana’s Where Myth Fades To Legend has also charted on the Billboard 200 at #96 and on the Billboard Hard Rock Album at #13.
The Emptiness (2010-Present)

In late February, Shawn Milke announced Alesana had started writing new material for their upcoming album. They began recording their third studio album, in July 2009, in Portland, Oregon, with producer Kris Crummett (Emarosa and DGD). The album, according to Shawn Milke on The Rave TV, will be entitled, “The Emptiness”[10]. The title “The Emptiness” has also been confirmed in a blog on the band’s MySpace page. The band has made their progress in the studio viewable to fans through a Twitter account and an official website run by the band themselves. In mid July, Alesana had their MySpace page edited by Justin Reich with pictures that according to Shawn, hint towards themes in the concept album; the photos show the band in fine suits holding bloody weapons inside an abandoned room, and a newspaper article with a headline “Alesana Unveils New Story This Winter.”[11]
It has also been mentioned that the album’s setting is at the turn of the 20th century. The Twitter account updates reveal that Melissa Milke and Adam Fisher of Fear Before have contributed vocals to the album, and that Shawn Milke appeared as a guest on metalcore band Asking Alexandria’s debut album, in the song “Hey There Mr. Brooks”.
Shawn Milke declared on August 19 via Twitter,
“It is 6:19 AM and I just finished my last scream…the record is finished…”The Emptiness” is complete…xo shawn”
concluding the band’s recording session, which began on July 10. Alesana then set out for North Carolina to rest before they began their Vs. tour, which they are currently headlining and performing with bands The Bled, Enter Shikari, Broadway, Madina Lake, and Asking Alexandria. On the Vs. tour, Alesana’s set included 2 new songs titled “To Be Scared By An Owl” and “The Thespian”. Soon after concluding their month long Vs. tour, Alesana headlined the “You’d Be Way Cuter In A Coffin” Tour with From First To Last, The Word Alive, Asking Alexandria, and Memphis May Fire.
On October 2, Shawn and Dennis held a second interview with TheRave.tv where they revealed that they were shooting a music video in the fall for one song off of their new CD. The two screamers went on to tell Linda, the interviewer, that due to their large fan base in Mexico and South America, they would be releasing a Spanish version of 2 of their songs. Shawn also revealed that the album, The Emptiness, is to be released on January 26, 2010[12]. The band finally released the track listing and cover art to the new album on November 10 on their myspace blog[13] On November 23, Alesana released their first recorded work off of The Emptiness, “To Be Scared By An Owl” and began to promote it as a single[14]. The same week, they entered the studio to begin filming their third video which according to AlesanaOfficial.com, is “The Thespian”, the song was released on December 8, 2009.
In the spring of this year, Alesana will tour the U.S. with A Skylit Drive, The Word Alive, Of Mice & Men, and We Came As Romans.
On January 22, Alesana uploaded all of their songs from the upcoming album on their myspace for free streaming.[15]

Thirteen Biography

Biar baru mulai aktif latihan setahun lalu. Thirteen udah menjelma menjadi salah satu band Jakarta yang kencang diomongin dan selalu diburu gigs-nya.
Band asal Jakarta ini emang belum lama terbentuk. Tapi soal jam terbang nggak usah diraguin lagi. Udah banyak gigs yang mereka jelajahi dan nggak ada cerita tuh mereka kaku di panggung. Band ini digawangi oleh enam orang cowok yaitu Raynard (vokal), Bobond (gitar), Echa (gitar), Ruday (keyboard), Dicky Dukun (bass), dan Adit Maman (drum) ini beneran lagi kenceng di kancah metal lokal.
Dengan berbekal lagu-lagu metal ekperimental, begitu mereka menyebutnya,terciptalah album bertajuk It’s All About Party Music and Friendship yang bulan Juni lalu resmi mereka lempar ke pasaran.
Singel andalannya adalah Cherry Pettite Rasberry. Lagu ini sukses membakar Spazio di Pim 2, pertengahan bulan Juli kemarin, saat mereka menggelar launching album. Nama Thirteen sendiri mereka ambil karena mereka percaya angka sial tersebut bakalan mereka jadikan sebuah keberuntungan. We’ll see..

BIOGRAFI Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me the Horizon (atau sering BMTH sebagaimana dimaksud) adalah sebuah deathcore band dari Sheffield, Yorkshire. Band ini dibentuk pada tahun 2004 dari anggota band lainnya di dalam area lokal. [1] Mereka telah memasukkan unsur-unsur death metal dan metalcore di musik mereka, yang mengakibatkan genrenya terbaik digambarkan sebagai suara deathcore ke dalam album perdana mereka " Count Your Blessings "yang dirilis 30 Oktober 2006.

Mereka saat ini menandatangani kontrak dengan label Visible Noise Records, tapi pada awalnya masuk ke label rekaman Thirty Days of Night Records. Mereka juga band pertama yang akan ditandatangani sesuai dengan label. Mereka telah melakukan tur di masa lalu dengan band-band seperti Lostprophets (judul), The Blackout; Killswitch Engage (judul) dan The Haunted. Mereka melakukan tur headlining di Inggris selama bulan Maret dan April dengan sekarang mati Metalcore band saya Tewas Prom Queen.

Mereka juga dikonfirmasi untuk dapat bermain Download Festival 2007 di bulan Juni juga dengan Iron Maiden, Slayer dan lain-lain.

Oli Sykes dan Matt Nicholls yang menjadi vegetarian dan membuat ini terkenal. Mereka bergabung dalam kampanye PETA terhadap KFC.

Biografi ofn SKING ALEXANDRIA

Asking Alexandria adalah band Post-Hardcore/Metalcore Inggris yang berasal dari kota York, North Yorkshire. Di bentuk pada tahun 2008 ketika Ben Bruce »» Lead Guitar menghubungi kawan-kawan lamanya ketika dia kembali ke Inggris setelah tinggal di Dubai. Formasi grup ini adalah: Ben Bruce, Danny Worsnop, Cameron Liddell »» Rhythm Guitar, Sam Bettley »» Bass, dan James Cassells »» Drums.

Awal terbentuk dan debut album (2008-2009)

 Asking Alexandria mempunyai akar dari Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dimana sang gitaris Ben Bruce membentuk sebuah band dan merilis satu full length album berjudul The Irony Of Your Perfection dan band ini di beri nama Asking Alexandria. Band ini tidak bertahan lama, mereka bubar, dan Ben Bruce mengatakan bahwa band nya yang di Dubai memakai nama Asking Alexandria gak lebih dari satu bulan, menyusul bubarnya band tersebut. Lagian band itu gak pernah mengadakan tur.

Pada tahun 2008 Bruce kembali ke Inggris, meninggalkan teman-teman mantan bandnya. Walaupun begitu Bruce gak pernah berniat menggantung karir musiknya karena gak lama setelah itu dia segera membentuk band lagi dengan anggota baru, dengan memutuskan untuk tetap mengusung nama Asking Alexandria. Bruce menyatakan bahwa dialah yang memberi nama Asking Alexandria kepada bandnnya, dan dia masih menyukainya serta makna dari nama ini masih teringat, dan oleh karena itu dia memutuskan untuk tetap memakai nama ini dalam proyek baru nya ini. Dia juga mengatakan dalam sebuah posting blog bahwa Asking Alexandria yang sekarang bukan lah Asking Alexandria yang sama dengan yang merilis album The Irony Of Your Perfection. Baik itu dalam gaya maupun para anggotanya, lagian mereka adalah dua band yang berbeda.

Band ini semenjak di bentuk pada tahun 2008 telah mengalami beberapa kali pergantian anggota, termasuk dari beranggotakan enam orang menjadi beranggotakan lima orang, dengan cabut nya sang Synthesist Ryans Binns. Pergantian terakhir yang di ketahui adalah bassist Sam Bettley, yang menggantikan Joey Lankaster pada bulan Januari 2009. Lancaster ikut manggung terakhir adalah di kampung halaman mereka York pada acara Fibbers tanggal 4 Januari. Mereka berangkat ke Amerika Serikat sehari setelah show tersebut untuk mempromosikan musik mereka melalui show-show yang akan di adakan, sekalian untuk persiapan perekaman debut album mereka.

Setelah melewati tahun 2008 dan bulan-bulan pertama tahun 2009 dengan tur, mereka merekam album studio debut mereka antara 19 Mei dan 16 Juni 2009 di The Foundation Recording Studio di kota Connersville, Indiana, Amerika Serikat dengan Joey Sturgis sebagai produser mereka. Mereka menandatangani kontrak dengan Sumerian Records setelah perekaman album selesai, dan mereka merilis Stand up And Scream pada tanggal 15 September 2009 melalui label baru mereka. Reckless & Relentless (2010-Sekarang)

Pada tanggal 22 Desember 2009, mereka mengumumkan bahwa mereka bersiap mengerjakan album kedua mereka pada bulan Januari. juga di umumkan bahwa merekan akan masuk studio pada 1 September lagi-lagi dengan produser Joey Sturgis. Kemudian melalui twitter mereka mengatakan bahwa mereka mampu masuk studio pada tanggal 22 Juni 2010. Mereka kemudian mengkonfirmasi melalui sebuah interview dengan Shred News  bahwa album ini di jadwalkan akan di rilis pada awal 2011 dan di rencanakan album ini mengandung 12 lagu baru. pada wawancara ynag sama, mereka mengatakan judul album ini belum stabil, masih berubah-ubah. Pada wawancara berikutnya mereka mengatakan bahwa album ini mungkin sudah bisa di pre-order pada bulan November 2010, dan akan tersedia pada awal tahun 2011. Satu lagu Breathless sudah dimainkan live dan bisa ditemukan di Youtube. Danny juga merilis lirik-lirik dari album ini walau dia tidak mengatakan dari lagu mana saja lirik-lirik itu berasal.

Pada bulan Maret mereka merangsek keluar untuk mengadakan tur di tahun baru ini, yang kemudian membawa mereka ke amerika Utara, kali ini bersama band Attack! attack!, Breathe carolina, band satu label mereka yaitu I ee Stars, dan bintang baru Metalcore dari Inggris Bury Tomorrow. Tur ini membawa mereka sampai ke bulan April, berakhir sepuluh hari sebelum mereka bersiap untuk tur Eropa pertama mereka dengan Dance Gavin Dance dan untuk Fear and Faith, yang termasuk didalamnya mereka akan tampil di acara festival tahunan Groezrock. mereka memutuskan untuk tidak melajutkan tur eropa mereka dua hari sebelum benar-benar berakhir untuk tampil di festival The Bamboozle di kota New Jersey.

Mereka mengumumkan tur headlining pertama mereka pada tanggal 2 Maret 2010, yang bertempat di North America. Band-band pendukung untuk tur ini juga di umumkan seperti We Came As Romans, From First To Last, Our Last Night, dan A Bullet For Pretty Boy. Kemudian di umukan bahwa Asking Alexandria akan di temani oleh Born Of Osiris di acara tersebut.

Sejak penampilan mereka di tur Thrash And Burn mereka membawakan lagu Breathless yang di masukkan ke dalam album kedua mereka reckless & Relentless. Mereka juga merekam versi kover dari lagu Right Now (na na na) nya Akon yang di rilis pada Punk Goes pop 3 pada bulan November 2010.Selama show di Las Cruces, New Mexico, pada tur Short but Sweet yang di laksanakan pada awal Oktober, mereka di tanyakan tentang album dan musik video mereka yang akan datang. Bruce menjawab dengan detil hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan album dan musik vidoe mereka tersebut. reckless & Relentless akan bisa di pre-order pada bulan Desember, dan akan di rilis pada bulan Februari. Dia juga mengatakan bahwa mereka akan merilis ulang stand Up And Scream dan termasuk kedalamnya sebuah bonus DVD yang akan mempunyai live video dari lagu If You Can’t Ride Two Horses At Once… Then You Should Get Out Of The Circus Mereka juga sedang mempersiapkan sebuah musik video untuk lagu A Prophecy yang akan di masukkan kedalam bonus DVD ini jika selesai tepat waktu.

Pada tanggal 23 November 2010, Asking Alexandria menambahkan sebuah EP (mini album) yang di beri judul Live Gone Wild untuk pre-order, yang di rencanakan akan di rilis pada tanggal 21 Desember 2010. EP ini berisi lagu baru Breathless dubstep remixes untuk A Single Moment Of Sincerity, dan Not The American Average , dua lagu kover Skid Row 18 And Life dan Youth Gone Wild, dan sebuah demo yang belum di rilis If Was Once, Possibly, Maybe, Perhaps A Cowboy King.

Di umumkan bahwa penerbitan ulang dari Stand Up And Scream yang seharusnya di rilis pada tanggal 16 November 2010, kemudian tanggal 21 Desember, kemudian di undur lagi tanggal 22 Maret dan di undur agi sampai pada musim panas 2011dan akan di beri judul Stepped Up and Scratched. Semua lgu di debut album akan ada disini dengan kover art work yang baru dan paket yang baru juga. Mereka mengumumkan ini hampir di setiap show mereka di Inggris dan akan di bawakan di acara Mice And Men dan Chealsea Grin.

Pada tanggal 5 April 2011, Reckless & Relentless di rilis seperti yang di rencanakan. Pada tanggal 11 April 2011 mereka membuat debut tampil di TV nasional, mereka membawakan lagu Someone, Somewhere, dan Closure pada acara Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Pada tanggal 5 Juli 2011, mereka merilis musik video untuk lagu Closure single pertama dari album Reckless & Relentless di sutradarai oleh Thunder Down Country. Pada tanggal 15 juli 2011, mereka merilis video musik untuk single ke dua To The Stage yang di sutradarai oleh Frankie Nasso. Pada tanggal 27 juli 2011, mereka mengumumkan jadwal tur mereka untuk 2012. Bruce juga mengatakan dalam sebuah wawancara bahwa mereka akan masuk studio pada bulan Maret 2012 untuk menulis lagu dan perekaman album berikutnya.

Deathroll Kapow

“Deathroll Kapow”, Band yang terbentuk di kota makassar pada awal November 2009 lahir di sebuah scene kecil yang bernama Killer Lab yang tepatnya di Jln.Cendrawasih No.476 disini lah mereka menjawab kejenuhan bermusik mereka , Dengan merekrut Yudi Baso (Gitar 1 ), Ippank ( Gitar 2 ), Anha (Bass), Fandy ( Drum ), Zul ( Voc. ). Mereka pun sepakat menjadikan Slamming death metal sebagai benang merah disetiap karya – karyanya. Seiring berjalan – nya waktu, Yudi Baso ( Gitar 1 ) Hengkang dari Deathroll Kapow setelah proses recording. 

Dengan begitu Personil dari Deathroll kapow menyisah tinggal 4 orang yang masih bertahan. Seiring jalan – nya waktu, awal bulan maret Deathroll kapow bertemu dengan Yudha Pratama ( Death of Sergeant ) dan sepakat bahwa Yudha yang menggantikan posisi Yudi Baso ( Gitar ) dalam Deathroll kapow. Pada saat ini Deathroll kapow telah menciptakan beberapa lagu, salah satunya berjudul “ Rekayasa Surgawi” .

All of SCREAM
